Jacklyn Ann Marie Klimczak

Singer/Actor/VOice Instructor

Jacklyn, holds a Dual Degree Masters in Vocal Performance & Pedagogy from New York University & Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance from Illinois Wesleyan University. She is a working artist & private vocal teacher residing in NYC. Performance experience varies from opera to musical theatre to pop. A few favorite recent roles include, Susanna Le Nozze di Figaro, Blanche de la Force, Dialogue of the Carmelites, & Diana, Next to Normal. She also performed in the longest running pandemic friendly live show in NYC, VOYEUR, with Bated Breath Theatre Company. Originally from Chicago, she has strong backgrounds in opera, choir, piano, musical theatre, pop, audition prep, college and masters auditions and prescreening, competitions, & dance.

 
 
 

Teaching Philosophy

Equally as inspired by teaching as performing, Jacklyn is a dedicated private voice instructor, piano teacher, vocal & dramatic coach. She has trained students of all ages & skill levels over 7 plus years of teaching both in her private studio, numerous private music schools, & at NYU serving as adjunct faculty. As an instructor, Jacklyn strives to achieve balance between artistry, creativity, vocal health, & technical development with her students. Lessons are personalized to the needs of each individual.
